Annual camp out, "Recovery on the Rapids" gives new and old members alike, a much needed chance to relax, socialize, get back to nature, and for the more adventuresome, a chance for personal challenge, whitewater rafting on the Kern river on level 2-3 and level 3-4 rapids. In the evening,, when all had recovered from the days adventures, which also included great trout fishing, there was a spiritually nourishing meeting around the camp fire where we were able to share our hopes and inspirations about our personal journey of recovery.
